Andrea Lynn Waronker, M.S.W., L.M.S.W. is a licensed social worker specializing in family, adolescent and children’s therapy. Ms. Waronker has a strong knowledge of addictions and substance abuse. She is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Social Work. She has been in practice since 1991. Ms. Waronker has worked in various hospitals and institutions. Her most recent employment was with Nyack Hospital on the in-patient and out- patient recovery centers. Ms. Waronker offers services in individual, couples and family therapy. Ms. Waronker uses a holistic approach to treatment. She believes in working with all areas in a person’s life.

Ms. Waronker’s office is located in Nyack, New York. She has been a resident in both Rockland County and New York City for over 20 years.

Andrea's Services

• Individual counseling
  Andrea offers one-on-one treatment for children, teens and adults alike. Her areas of work include: substance abuse, addiction, truancy, ADD/HD, autism, divorce and adoption.
• Couples counseling
  Andrea works with couples going through marital/relationship difficulties, divorce, remarriage and step-parenting.
• Group therapy
  Weekly or bi-weekly groups whose focus might be trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), adoption issues and addiction/alcoholism.
• Family Counseling
  When indicated, Andrea does her best to include all family members in treatment. This involves parents and children, couples and individuals.
